My hand is raised high.
Our immediate response should be PRAY!
Instead, oftentimes we carry the weight ourselves. We may hold it inside only for it to eat away mental, emotional and physical health.
There are times when we talk to everyone else but God. Even though our Pastor, family and friends want to fix it for us, the reality is they do not have the POWER to do it.
However, there is ONE that has all power in His hands. Our Heavenly Father is Almighty. There is NOTHING that is too hard for him to do.
Do you have challenges when it comes to prayer? My prayer is after reading this blog today, your challenges no longer exist.
The next time you PRAY:
Acknowledge who God is in your life **Alpha and Omega, Creator, Master, Savior, Ruler, Redeemer…
Thank him for *Salvation through Jesus, His Unconditional Love, His Forgiveness and His Grace & Mercy
Ask for Forgiveness of your sins and short comings. (Romans 3:23)
Ask for His will to be done in your life. God’s plan for you is perfect. (Jeremiah 29:11)
Ask specifically for what you want. (Psalm 37:4, Matthew 7:7, Philippians 4:6)
Intercede for someone else. When you take your mind off of you and pray for others, encourage others and minister to others you will be uplifted. (James 5:16)
Find a prayer partner and watch God show up. (Matthew 18:20)
It is perfectly ok to ask others to pray for you. There are times when we need the strength of someone else to intercede. But can I encourage you to come BOLDLY to His throne of Grace and just TALK to him. Because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7) and God is waiting to hear from you (Isaiah 30:18).
